Response to the Scottish Government draft budget for 2017/18

Professor Andrea Nolan, US Convener said: “We recognise that the Scottish Government has tried to offer protection of higher education in this budget. However, this settlement does not enable recovery towards sustainable funding of universities’ core teaching and research activities.”

Universities Scotland is the representative body of Scotland's 19 higher education institutions. We develop policy on behalf of the university sector and campaign publicly on higher education issues.
